Shane Bakker brings over three decades of multidisciplinary expertise at the intersection of elite human performance, pharmaceutical innovation, and longevity-focused healthcare. With a background in biochemistry and a career that includes leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Shane has contributed to advancing cardiovascular and specialist care strategies within one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical organizations.

Following his pharmaceutical career, Shane transitioned to high-performance human optimization, founding Health Corp, where he has led elite fitness and medical initiatives across Australia and the UAE. His work spans Olympic, AFL, and NRL athletes, and he is currently training former world champion swimmer James Magnussen for the landmark Enhanced Games, set for May 2026—where science and performance enhancement converge in a bold reimagining of athletic competition.

As Director of Health Corp Dubai, Shane is also advancing corporate wellness and preventive cardiometabolic programs in the Middle East. With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biochemistry, advanced certifications in nutrition and sports medicine, and hands-on experience designing pharmaceutical-grade supplement protocols, Shane embodies the fusion of science and real-world application that defines the Vesalius mission.
